Its body design is curvy and muscular, with defined lines against textured dimensional highlights. The Special Edition is based on the Corolla SE Upgrade CVT but showcases unique features, like black painted 18” alloy wheels, a sport-styled front splitter, black rear roof spoiler and rear bumper garnish. The Special Edition boasts its unique badging on its rear profile. And the overall appearance is complemented with J-shaped LED headlamps that wrap into the front fender to create a fluid and finished design. LED taillamps feature a diffusing inner lens that highlights the Special Edition’s silhouette.
You’ll be excited about the Special Edition’s ability to perform, too. It utilizes a 2.0L Dynamic Force engine, delivering 168 horsepower and high efficiency. It’s also equipped with a 10-speed Dynamic Shift Continuously variable (CVT) transmission. In combination with Sport Mode and mounted paddle shifters, the Special Edition certainly packs a punch. The Dynamic Force engine helps to maximize performance while improving fuel economy.
The Special Edition is built on Toyota’s TNGA-K platform and has a responsive, multi-link rear suspension. The TNGA platform is a complete redevelopment of the vehicle’s powertrain unit that improves the vehicle’s overall responsiveness.
